Dutch International: European financial industry credit spreads widened due to concerns about private credit.
Suvi Kosonen of the Netherlands International Group stated in a report that concerns over the risks of private credit have widened the spread in yields of European financial services industry bonds compared to levels in 2025. Kosonen expressed concerns that if these funds utilize banks' credit lines, the ongoing liquidity challenges of private credit funds could spread to the traditional banking sector. She said, "Whether in euros or dollars, bonds issued by private credit funds have performed poorly this year, reflecting a weakening outlook."
