Samsung has made a breakthrough in the semiconductor manufacturing field, with its advanced 2-nanometer process yielding rate recently surpassing 60%. This development will allow the company to produce more high-performance chips at a lower cost, while also attracting new customers. According to reports, the yield rate of Samsung's 2-nanometer process has more than doubled in just two quarters. In the second half of last year, the yield rate of this process was only about 20%, leading to many chips on the wafers being unusable. Now with a yield rate exceeding 60%, Samsung is essentially on par with TSMC's yield rate. It is reported that TSMC, the industry leader, has a yield rate for its 2-nanometer process between 60% and 70%.
