It is worth noting that China has built the most complete transformer production system in the world, with independent and controllable hard power throughout the entire industry chain, accounting for about 60% of the global production capacity. According to data from Qi Cha Cha, as of March 24th, there are 139,800 transformer-related companies in China, with 12,700 new registrations in 2025, an increase of 4.81% compared to the previous year. So far this year, 2,400 new companies have been registered. In terms of existing companies, most transformer-related companies have been in operation for over 5 years, accounting for over 60% of the total. In terms of regional distribution, the existing transformer-related companies are highly concentrated, mainly in the East China region, accounting for 43.19%.
