On March 24th, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the situation of the 9th Digital China Construction Summit. Liu Liehong, director of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated that the National Bureau of Statistics attaches great importance to empowering artificial intelligence innovation development with data elements, proposing "where artificial intelligence development goes, high-quality data sets should be built there." In response to the problem of the small and scattered construction of high-quality data system, 104 typical cases were selected jointly with 26 departments to build a high-quality data set construction ecosystem where chain leaders drive, multiple parties participate, collaborate, build, and share for mutual benefit, continuously promoting the construction of high-quality data sets. With the joint efforts of all parties, the construction of high-quality data sets has achieved phased results. By the end of 2025, over 100,000 high-quality data sets have been established nationwide. The increase in the daily token call volume demonstrates that China's artificial intelligence development has entered a rapid growth stage.
