During the Spring Festival travel rush, the inspection and guidance team of the Ministry of Transport conducted inspections and guidance on the major risks and hidden dangers of traffic safety production during the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush. They went to Jiangmen and Zhanjiang cities in Guangdong province, inspected and guided some industry management departments and 11 key enterprises, identifying a total of 48 problems and hidden dangers, including 2 major accident hazards. In Jiangmen city, the inspection and guidance team found issues with the dangerous goods transport vehicle "J67919" operated by Anda Transport Co., Ltd. The vehicle's respirator with particle filter certificate was expired, chemical safety protective goggles, rubber gloves, emergency supplies were not equipped according to regulations matching the hazardous goods being carried. According to the criteria for determining major accident hazards in road transport and urban passenger transport enterprises, it was classified as a major accident hazard. The experts of the inspection and guidance team pointed out that the company was turning a blind eye to the obvious major accident hazards, revealing that the company's responsibility for safety production implementation was inadequate, and the inspection and rectification of safety production hazards was only superficial. The experts recommended that the company immediately stop using the "J67919" vehicle, equip it with a respirator within its validity period, as well as chemical safety protective goggles, rubber gloves matching the cyanide, and emergency supplies to prevent the vehicle from operating with diseases. They also suggested strengthening the comprehensive inspection and rectification of hidden dangers within the company, focusing on the validity and applicability of protective equipment, establishing an equipment inventory for each vehicle, and so on.
