Shanghai Electric provides core equipment for the world's largest coal-to-olefin project.
Recently, Shanghai Electric Power Station Group officially signed a contract with Inner Mongolia Baofeng Coal-based New Materials Co., Ltd., providing 8 sets of 1250 standard cubic meters per hour alkaline electrolysis cells for its wind-powered hydrogen production project Phase I electrolysis water hydrogen production project, and the world's largest single set of 5000 standard cubic meters per hour separation and purification system, with the industry's first outdoor three-dimensional layout design. This project is the world's first largest single factory-scale "green hydrogen + coal-to-olefin" coupling demonstration project. After completion, the "zero-carbon" green hydrogen produced by wind power will directly replace the "gray hydrogen" produced from coal, effectively reducing the coal chemical industry's reliance on fossil energy, and providing a demonstrative engineering solution for the large-scale integration of wind and solar power generation.
