Iran claims that there is no remaining crude oil stranded at sea and no surplus crude oil available for export.
According to the Iranian Oil Ministry's Shana news agency quoting the ministry's spokesman Saman Golgushi, there is basically no remaining crude oil stranded at sea in Iran currently, and there is no excess crude oil available to supply to other international markets. The report also stated that the licenses issued by the US Treasury Department allowing the sale of Iranian oil and petrochemical products loaded on tankers are "aimed at creating hope for buyers and psychologically controlling the market."
