China's CIMC Raffles wins contracts to build four super-large crude oil tankers from Europe.

Recently, China International Marine Containers (CIMC) subsidiary CIMC Raffles signed a formal contract with European shipping investment company Bruton Ltd for the construction of four 319,000 DWT ultra-large crude oil tankers. This signing marks CIMC Raffles' successful entry into the VLCC large oil tanker construction market, further enriching the product matrix in the high-end commercial ship sector, and is another important implementation of its diversification strategy.
