The Thai king has approved Anutin to serve as the prime minister.

Siroj Betapin, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives of Thailand, announced at a ceremony held at the Proud Thai Party headquarters on the 20th that Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn had approved the appointment of Anutin Charnvirakul as the Prime Minister of Thailand. According to the announcement from the Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, Anutin will serve as the 32nd Prime Minister of Thailand for his second term. After accepting the appointment, Anutin stated that he will do his best for the national interest, the welfare of the people, and the prosperity of Thailand. According to the Thai Constitution, after Anutin accepts the formal appointment, he will decide on the complete list of his cabinet members and submit it for the King's approval. Once the King approves the list, Anutin and his cabinet members will be sworn in before the King and present their policy statements to the Parliament within 15 days of taking office.
