In order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers, regulate the handling of financial consumer complaints by banks and insurance institutions, promote the diversified resolution of financial consumer disputes, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission revised the "Administrative Measures for Handling Consumer Complaints in the Banking and Insurance Industry" released in 2020, forming the "Administrative Measures for Handling Consumer Complaints in Banks and Insurance Institutions". It is now open for public comments.
