Wang Yuan, director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, introduced at a press conference held on the 18th that currently, Beijing has over 2.2 million operating small and medium-sized enterprises. In recent years, Beijing has continuously promoted small and medium-sized enterprises to take the path of specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative development, with a total of 16,600 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises cultivated, 10,800 specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and 1,214 national specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "small giant" enterprises.
