The first ammonia-powered ship engine in our country has passed inspection in Qingdao.

On March 16, the WinGD 6X72DF-A-1.0 ammonia-fueled low-speed engine, built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation's CSSC Marine Engine Co., Ltd., successfully passed the functional integration approval and bench test, and was successfully delivered in Qingdao. This is the first ammonia-fueled marine engine in China to achieve commercial delivery, filling the application gap in zero-carbon ship power in China.
