March 17: The "Wholesale Price Index for Agricultural Products 200" decreased by 0.33 points compared to yesterday.

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on March 17, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices of Agricultural Products" was 122.43, a decrease of 0.33 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 124.08, a decrease of 0.38 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 16.20 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.1% from yesterday; beef was 66.13 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; mutton was 64.53 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.4% from yesterday; eggs were 7.52 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; and broiler chicken was 17.20 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday. The average price of the 28 vegetables monitored closely was 4.88 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.2% from yesterday; the average price of the 6 fruits monitored closely was 7.84 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.8% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.86 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; carp was 14.45 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.8% from yesterday; white carp was 10.65 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.5% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 41.65 yuan/kg, a decrease of 3.3% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored closely in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with the highest price increases compared to yesterday are rape, celery, lettuce, spinach, and watermelon, with increases of 3.2%, 2.8%, 2.5%, 2.4%, and 1.6% respectively; the top five with the highest price decreases are leek, bighead carp, pear, banana, and winter melon, with decreases of 3.6%, 3.3%, 2.3%, 2.3%, and 2.3% respectively.
