A self-built house in Meizhou, Guangdong caught fire, resulting in 3 deaths and 2 injuries. Official report.

According to the emergency management bureau of Xingning City, Meizhou, Guangdong Province, at around 2:50 am on March 14th, a fire broke out in a self-built house in Shuikou Town, Xingning City. After rescue personnel searched and rescued with all their efforts, 5 trapped individuals were rescued on site, of which 3 died despite being sent to the hospital for treatment, and 2 were injured. The fire was extinguished on site at 4:01 am on the same day. It was verified that the building on fire was a four-story reinforced concrete structure, with a fire area of approximately 150 square meters. Currently, relevant post-disaster response and disposal work is being carried out in an orderly manner.
