The President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Ren Hongbin, led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit the United Kingdom.
From March 11th to 14th, at the invitation of the Global Council of the Sustainable Markets Initiative, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) President Gao Hongbin led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit London and Edinburgh, UK. They attended the Roundtable Conference on the 2026 Earth Charter of the Sustainable Markets Initiative, as well as the China Special Event Exhibition, a high-level reception, and a CEO exchange meeting between the Chinese Council and the Global Council. During the visit, Gao Hongbin also met with Scotland's Minister for Business and Employment, Lochhead, the CEO of the Sustainable Markets Initiative, Seiff, the Chairman of Forster Group, and the Chairman of Prudential Group, Vander. They also conducted research on related enterprises. CCPIT and the China-Britain Business Council jointly organized a China-UK business exchange matchmaking meeting, during which companies from both sides focused on artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and other topics, achieving multiple outcomes.
