On March 13, 2026, the Spring Festival travel rush came to an end. According to statistics from the Three Gorges Navigation Management Bureau, from February 2 to March 13, the Three Gorges hub completed a total of 1408 lockages, with 4020 vessels and 15.48 million tons of cargo passing through. Among them, 4.422 million tons of essential supplies such as coal, oil, and grains were safely and conveniently transported through the locks. During the Spring Festival travel rush, the Three Gorges hub section received nearly 818,000 passengers, an increase of 75.3% compared to the previous year. Among them, nearly 167,000 passengers were transported by ferry, an increase of 45.1% compared to the previous year.
