On March 13, the Shanghai International Energy Exchange issued a notice regarding the implementation of restrictive opening positions on certain clients. The notice stated that on March 13, 2026, a group of accounts with actual control relationships exceeded the trading limit for opening positions on relevant contracts, reaching the Shanghai International Energy Exchange's processing standard. The trading behavior of the clients mentioned above violated Article 16 of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange's Rules on Abnormal Trading Behavior. As a result, the Shanghai International Energy Exchange has decided to implement restrictive opening position regulations on the relevant clients in the corresponding contracts.
