China Chang'an's acquisition of control over Suzuki Motorcycle through a contract has entered a public notice period.

On March 13th, the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation showed that China Chang'an Automobile Group Co., Ltd. has obtained the control rights of Jinan Light Riding Suzuki Motorcycle Co., Ltd. through a contract, and the case has entered the public notice period, which is from March 12, 2026 to March 21, 2026. The Simple Case Public Notice Form for Operator Concentration reveals that China Ordnance Equipment Group Co., Ltd. has signed a separation agreement, and the 50% equity of Jinan Light Riding Suzuki Motorcycle Co., Ltd. previously held by Ordnance Equipment Group has been legally transferred as assets to China Chang'an Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Before the transaction, Ordnance Equipment Group and Suzuki Motor Corporation each held 50% of the equity of Light Riding Suzuki, jointly controlling the company. After the transaction, China Chang'an and Suzuki Group each hold 50% of the equity of Light Riding Suzuki, jointly controlling the company.
