The European Union Aviation Safety Agency has extended the Middle East conflict airspace fly warning until March 18th.
On March 11th local time, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency announced that it has extended the validity of its warning covering the conflict area in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf to March 18, 2026. The reason for this extension is the escalating military conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, which continues to pose a high risk to civil aviation. According to the announcement, all flight altitudes in the airspace of multiple countries including Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia are considered high-risk areas. The announcement explicitly advises European Union airlines and third-country operators authorized by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency to cease all flight activities at all altitudes in the affected airspace, and to closely follow official guidance.
