National Development and Reform Commission: Draft plan adds indicator for percentage of nursing beds in elderly care institutions.

Zheng Bei, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference at the State Council Information Office that the draft outline of the "15th Five-Year Plan" includes a new indicator for the proportion of nursing beds in elderly care institutions, aiming to guide these institutions to provide more high-quality nursing services and better meet the needs of elderly people with disabilities and dementia. In addition, it sets a target for increasing the enrollment rate of children under 3 years old in childcare institutions, which will comprehensively reflect the satisfaction level of childcare needs and enhance the public's sense of access.
