US energy stocks rose in pre-market trading as the Middle East conflict pushed up oil and gas prices.

US oil and gas stocks rose in pre-market trading on Tuesday, boosted by the escalation of conflict in the Middle East driving further increases in commodity prices. Venture Global rose by 17%, Cheniere Energy by 8.5%, Vermilion by 6.7%, Diamondback Energy by 4.8%, ConocoPhillips by 3.6%, Occidental Petroleum by 3.3%, APA by 3.2%, ExxonMobil by 2.1%, and Chevron by 1.9%.
