Brazil's economy has achieved growth for five consecutive years.

The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics released a report on the 3rd saying that Brazil's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2025 reached 12.7 trillion Brazilian reais, a 2.3% increase from the previous year, marking five consecutive years of economic growth in Brazil. Rebecca Palis, an official from the Institute, stated that agriculture, mining, information and communication, and other services made significant contributions to GDP growth in 2025, despite the contractionary monetary policy. According to the statistics, the agricultural output in Brazil increased by 11.7% in 2025, especially in corn and soybean production reaching record highs; industrial output increased by 1.4%, with a growth of 8.6% in oil and gas extraction output; additionally, the service sector saw a 1.8% increase in output. The report also showed that the per capita GDP in Brazil reached 59,687.49 reais in 2025, a real increase of 1.9% from the previous year.
