Due to the continuous evolution of the security situation in the Middle East, as well as the restrictions faced by maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, COSCO Shipping Line is closely monitoring the developments in the region and maintaining close communication with relevant authorities and security agencies. In order to ensure the safety of all operations, the following recommendations are made for vessels and cargo at the current stage: Vessels that have entered the Persian Gulf are advised to anchor or stay in safe waters after completing their scheduled port berthing and operations, under the premise of safety. For vessels heading towards the Persian Gulf, the company has notified relevant vessels to pay attention to navigation safety, adjust speed, head to safe waters, or designate a sheltered anchor area to await further instructions. The company is evaluating all follow-up disposal plans for cargo on board, and will strictly adhere to the relevant provisions in the company's bill of lading terms and conditions.
