During the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period, the focus will be on key areas and crucial links of pollution emissions. The effectiveness of reducing pollution emissions is not only tangible, but also multifaceted. Firstly, the improvement in air quality is particularly significant. After the ultra-low emission transformation of key industries, the amount of pollutant emissions per unit of product has been greatly reduced by 50% to 90%, reaching a world-leading level of emission performance. Thirdly, pollution control and reduction have also become an "engine" for the development of new productive forces. The ultra-low emission transformation in the steel industry has driven investments of over 400 billion yuan, leading to the development of energy-saving, environmental protection, clean transportation, and new energy vehicles industries. In particular, it has created a broad application scenario for new energy heavy-duty trucks and opened up a fast development path.
