Henan province releases detailed rules of subsidies for trading in old cars for new ones in 2026, with a maximum subsidy of 20,000 yuan.

On February 25th, the Department of Commerce of Henan Province and 8 other departments issued the "Implementation Rules for Subsidies for the Replacement of Old Cars with New Cars in Henan Province in 2026". It clearly stipulates subsidy policies for two ways of replacing old cars with new cars: scrapping and replacement. For scrapped old cars that meet the conditions and purchase new energy passenger cars that meet the conditions, a subsidy of 12% of the new car's selling price will be provided, with a maximum subsidy amount of 20,000 yuan. For scrapped fuel passenger cars that meet the conditions and purchase new fuel passenger cars that meet the conditions, a subsidy of 10% of the new car's selling price will be provided, with a maximum subsidy amount of 15,000 yuan. For the purchase of new energy passenger cars, a subsidy of 8% of the new car's selling price will be provided, with a maximum subsidy amount of 15,000 yuan; for the purchase of fuel passenger cars, a subsidy of 6% of the new car's selling price will be provided, with a maximum subsidy amount of 13,000 yuan.
