State Forestry and Grassland Administration: Identify Risks and Strengthen Spring Bird Protection
The State Forestry and Grassland Administration recently issued a notice to strengthen the protection of birds before and after the Spring Festival and during the spring migration period. They will inspect key areas such as important bird habitats, migration routes, and surrounding areas to identify and eliminate various risks that pose a threat to bird populations, such as setting traps, poisoning birds, and using prohibited hunting tools. At the same time, they will increase supervision of artificial breeding activities for birds, actively coordinate joint law enforcement inspections, enhance online monitoring and cleanup of illegal bird trading and sales of prohibited hunting tools.
