Less than 30 seconds to firmly fix it, the country has successfully achieved the unmanned operation of the entire process of container ships for the first time.
On February 21st, the first intelligent sailing container vessel "Zhi Fei" put into commercial operation in the country successfully docked at the automated berth of Qingdao Port in Shandong with its unmanned autonomous navigation mode. This marks the first time in China that the entire process of sailing, docking, and operation of container vessels has been unmanned. After "Zhi Fei" accurately positioned itself, the vacuum-type automatic mooring system with vacuum suction cups securely attached the ship to the berth in less than 30 seconds without the need for manual mooring. Subsequently, the port's fully automated loading and unloading equipment operated efficiently, with the independently developed intelligent terminal control system and equipment intelligent control system working together to command automated bridge cranes and automated guided vehicles in precise coordination with a response speed of milliseconds to complete container loading and unloading operations. It is understood that "Zhi Fei" is equipped with a domestically developed intelligent navigation core system and is the first intelligent commercial cargo ship in the country, with three modes of operation: manual driving, remote control, and unmanned autonomous sailing.
