Hong Kong will announce railway standards next week.

Ms. Chen Meibao, Director of the Transport and Logistics Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, stated today that railway technology and construction technology have made significant advancements in recent years. Combined with the continuous expansion of the railway network in Hong Kong, cross-border railway projects are being actively promoted. Following six months of intense collaboration with relevant government departments and railway experts, the "Hong Kong Railway Standard" will be launched next week. It is reported that the "Hong Kong Railway Standard" incorporates national standards and appropriate railway standards from other regions, with adjustments made according to Hong Kong's environmental conditions. Ms. Chen Meibao believes that the "Hong Kong Railway Standard" can promote the industry to adopt standardized design, introduce innovative construction technology and materials, improve the supply chain, and optimize processes, thus keeping pace with the times and enhancing efficiency and speed.
