Xiamen and Kinmen jointly set off colorful fireworks to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Horse.

On the evening of February 17th, Xiamen and Kinmen both held a Chinese New Year fireworks display, illuminating the night sky on both sides and conveying blessings of reunion and hope. Many spectators expressed that this year's cross-strait fireworks held special significance for Kinmen. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the "small three links," which includes four passenger routes between Xiamen and Kinmen. Xiamen and Kinmen are gradually forming a closer "sister city" relationship, and soon Kinmen will once again welcome tourists from Shanghai. Through practical measures, people from both sides of the strait are getting closer. Under the dazzling fireworks, everyone made a wish for a better future together.
