Sichuan: Over 7.67 million visitors welcomed at A-level scenic spots across the province on the first day of the Lunar New Year.

On February 17, the third day of the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, the cultural and tourism market in Sichuan Province operated smoothly and orderly, welcoming the first peak of outbound travelers in a festive atmosphere of reunion and joy. As of 3 p.m., 873 A-level scenic spots in the province received 7.677 million tourists and ticket revenue of 48.3433 million yuan. Among them, 5A-level tourist attractions received 654,900 tourists and achieved ticket revenue of 13.4614 million yuan. In the first three days of the holiday, a total of 17.5696 million tourists were received, with ticket revenue of 113.0484 million yuan. On the 17th, the province's libraries, cultural centers, and museums received 1.555 million visitors, with a total of 2.6738 million visitors from the first day to the third day.
