Data from the network monitoring website DownDetector shows that the interruption of YouTube services has affected nearly 340,000 users. The streaming website also reported that its recommendation system had malfunctioned. This service interruption caused some users to see blank YouTube pages, and videos could not be loaded on the YouTube app, YouTube Music, and YouTube Kids. However, YouTube has announced that the issue with the recommendation system has been resolved and all platforms have returned to normal.
