The two 500 kilovolt projects of Sichuan Power Grid were put into operation before the Spring Festival.

According to the State Grid Sichuan Power Company, the Daofu to Xinduqiao 500kV project and the Guangyuan thermal power plant 500kV transmission project were successfully put into operation on February 8th and 13th respectively. This means that the main grid structure of Sichuan power grid has been further optimized, enhancing the clean energy absorption capacity and power supply reliability, laying a good foundation for the start of the province's "15th Five-Year Plan" power grid construction. The Daofu to Xinduqiao 500kV project starts from the Ganzi Daofu 500kV substation and ends at the Xinduqiao 500kV substation, with a total length of approximately 115.8 kilometers and 248 newly built towers. After the project is put into operation, it will effectively improve the power grid structure of Ganzi Prefecture, guarantee the stable grid connection and efficient absorption of 1.5 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation in Daofu area, and help clean energy to serve the people's livelihood and regional development in the plateau area.
