Armed attack happened in the central-northern part of Nigeria.

On February 14th, local time, three communities in Niger State in central-northern Nigeria were attacked by armed assailants, resulting in at least 30 deaths and an unknown number of people being kidnapped. In addition, the armed assailants also set houses and police stations on fire, forcing some local residents to flee their homes. The Niger State police said a joint security team had been dispatched to the scene to assess the situation, and efforts are underway to rescue those who have been kidnapped.
