Cultural tourism exchange activities between five provinces and cities in Guangxi, China and Vietnam were held in Nanning.

On February 12th, a cultural and tourism working meeting and joint promotion event between Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China and the provinces of Guangning, Liangshan, Gaoping, Xuanguang, and Haiphong in Vietnam were held in Nanning. The two sides further clarified the direction of future cooperation to promote the development of cross-border tourism between China and Vietnam. During the working meeting, representatives from both sides shared experiences and put forward practical cooperation suggestions in areas such as strengthening cross-border tourism cooperation, deepening cultural exchanges, empowering cultural and tourism digitalization, and enhancing port clearance facilitation. After thorough discussions, the two sides reached six common action initiatives: jointly shaping cross-border tourism brands and developing quality routes together; building a bond of cultural exchange and enhancing the "China-Vietnam border people's grand celebration" brand; promoting border tourism upgrades and optimizing facilitation policies; promoting the empowerment of cultural and tourism AI, strengthening technological exchanges and talent development; safeguarding the order of the tourism market and protecting the development interests of both sides in the cultural and tourism market; jointly building a benchmark for cross-border cooperation, accelerating the construction of iconic projects such as the De Tian Waterfall cross-border tourism cooperation zone and the 53rd boundary pillar cultural square between China and Vietnam.
