Chongqing Municipality issues the "Action Plan for Advancing Urban Comprehensive Digital Transformation" with the goal of fully establishing the digital Chongqing system by 2027.

Chongqing Municipality recently officially issued the "Chongqing City Action Plan for Promoting Urban Comprehensive Digital Transformation", clearly stating the need to accelerate the development of AI-enabled digital construction in Chongqing, shaping new models for urban development, services, security, and governance, and taking the lead in exploring a new path for modernized governance in super-large cities. By 2027, a comprehensive digital Chongqing system will be built, providing strong support for the construction of a modern people's city. The specific goals include releasing over 1,500 basic spatial layers by 2027, with the dispatchable intelligent computing scale reaching 100,000 PFLOPS, maintaining a data supply-demand satisfaction rate of over 96%, constructing 5,000 high-quality data sets, and planning to create 200 integrated scenarios. Additionally, 1,000 new data enterprises will be nurtured, and the added value of the core industries in the digital economy will account for 11.1% of the regional GDP. To achieve these goals, the action plan has deployed five core capability enhancement actions, covering digital foundations, intelligent centers, six major systems, grassroots intelligent governance, and data ecology, among others.
