Tianjin Deputy Mayor Xie Yuan stated that in the next step, we will focus on the industrial advantages of the Binhai New Area, strengthen the main functions of industrial carriers, extend innovation collaboration and regional driving force, deeply integrate into the "six chains and five groups" industrial layout, promote joint technological research, open sharing of scientific resources, joint construction and use of application scenarios, jointly build a world-class advanced manufacturing cluster, promote deep integration of advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry, and build a modern industrial system supported by the real economy. We will focus on the construction of world-class smart, green, and hub ports, with Tianjin Port as the leader, comprehensively deepen cooperation in the Tianjin-Hebei Port Alliance, strengthen the core functions of the northern international shipping hub, and create a convenient port for outbound journeys. We will deeply promote the integrated development of port, industry, and city, and accelerate the construction of Tianjin's modern marine city. We will focus on comprehensive deepening of reform and opening up, fully summarize the existing comprehensive reform experience, innovate and introduce a number of pioneering, institutional, and systematic reform measures, focus on promoting institutional and mechanism reforms for coordinated development, and explore more for the development of the capital metropolitan area. We will give full play to the advantages of the national new area system and industrial foundation, unleash the potential of national development zones, implement the strategy of upgrading the pilot free trade zone, enhance the innovation leadership, industrial support, and opening competitiveness of the Binhai New Area.
