Institution: The output value of memory storage in 2026 is expected to double that of wafer foundry.

According to the latest data from TrendForce, boosted by the AI wave, both the storage and wafer foundry industries will simultaneously hit new highs in 2026. The storage industry, affected by tight supply and soaring prices, will see its production value increase significantly to $551.6 billion. While the wafer foundry production value also sets a new record high of $218.7 billion, the production value of the storage industry has climbed to more than double that of the wafer foundry industry.
