The National Oceanic Forecasting Center has issued a yellow wave warning based on the "Marine Disaster Emergency Response Plan."
Affected by the cold air, it is expected that from the afternoon of February 8th to the afternoon of February 9th, there will be waves of 4 to 6 meters in the northern and central parts of the South China Sea, and waves of 3 to 5 meters in the southern part of the East China Sea, near the Diaoyu Islands, and the Taiwan Strait, with near-shore areas having a yellow-level wave warning; in the near-shore areas of Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, and the eastern part of Hainan, there will be waves of 2.5 to 3.4 meters, with a blue-level wave warning. Ships operating in the above-mentioned sea areas should pay attention to safety, and relevant units along the coast should take early measures to prevent waves.
