United Nations humanitarian aid convoy in central Sudan was attacked by a drone and one person was killed.

United Nations official Dennis Brown, who is responsible for coordinating humanitarian affairs in Sudan, issued a statement on the 6th saying that a humanitarian aid convoy of the UN World Food Programme was attacked by a drone in central Sudan, killing at least one person, injuring several others, and causing damage to supplies. The statement said that the convoy was attacked while en route to El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan state in central Sudan, to deliver aid to families who have been displaced nearby.
