Wang Xiaolin, a member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the former Guiyang Medical College, and also the former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the affiliated hospital of Guiyang Medical College, was sentenced to death with a reprieve in the first instance.

On January 6th, the Intermediate People's Court of Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, publicly sentenced Wang Xiaolin, former member of the Party Committee and vice president of Guiyang Medical College, and former deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Guiyang Medical College Affiliated Hospital, for bribery. The defendant Wang Xiaolin was sentenced to death for bribery, with a two-year reprieve, deprivation of political rights for life, and confiscation of all personal property; the proceeds of the bribery received by the defendant Wang Xiaolin and their interest shall be recovered and turned over to the national treasury in accordance with the law.
