Ministry of Commerce: First batch of 8.6 billion yuan of fiscal support funds has been allocated to the pilot cities for consumer goods "Three News".

On February 6th, Vice Minister of Commerce Yan Dong stated at a regular policy briefing of the State Council that since September 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance have carried out pilot projects for the development of new consumption formats, new models and new scenarios. The two departments have identified 50 pilot cities through competitive evaluation, guiding them to refine and improve implementation plans, select and determine a list of projects to support, and allocate an initial financial support fund of 8.6 billion yuan to the pilot cities.
