Trump launches TrumpRx website, claiming it can lower drug costs.

On February 5th local time, US President Trump announced the launch of a new website to help American people purchase selected drugs at discounted prices. Trump stated that starting from that evening, dozens of commonly prescribed medications will be available to all consumers at significant discounts through the new website TrumpRx.gov. Trump mentioned that over 40 drug options will include weight-loss medications such as Ozempic and Wegovy from Novo Nordisk, which will be sold directly to consumers for $199. EMD Serono will also "substantially reduce the prices of its most commonly used fertility drugs".
