Intel collaborates with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to build a joint laboratory.
On February 5th, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Intel announced the establishment of the "HKUST-Intel Joint Laboratory". The laboratory will conduct a three-year research program focusing on exploring high-energy-efficient near-storage computing architecture to address the challenges of artificial intelligence applications in performance and energy efficiency. Through innovative software and hardware co-design, the two parties aim to provide technological references for the future development of intelligent devices and sustainable artificial intelligence systems.
