Greek energy company Metlen to again sell UK solar assets.

Greek energy company Metlen announced on the 4th that it has agreed to sell its 283 MW solar project portfolio in the UK to Schroder Green Capital. The company stated that this is a key step in its global asset rotation strategy. The portfolio includes seven projects distributed in England and Scotland, with 143 MW already in operation or mechanically complete, and another 140 MW under construction, expected to be commercially operational in the second quarter of 2026. This transaction marks the second deal between Metlen and Schroder Green Capital. In 2024, Metlen sold a 110 MW UK solar asset portfolio to the latter.
