Uruguayan President Alsi: With the Tree of Friendship as a witness, Uruguay and China join hands to jointly create a new chapter of cooperation.

On February 4, Uruguayan President Alsi visited Beijing Foreign Studies University and delivered a keynote speech. Alsi stated that the world, including Uruguay, is well aware of the role and importance that China plays. In his speech, he specifically praised China's way of interacting with the world, as well as groundbreaking initiatives such as "Belt and Road" and "A Community of Shared Future for Mankind", describing these concepts as admirable and providing new ideas for cooperation between countries.
