The National Disaster Reduction and Relief Commission Office has deployed further efforts to improve the risk prevention and control of natural disasters before and after the Spring Festival.

On February 4th, the Office of the National Committee for Disaster Reduction issued a notice, strengthening the prevention and response to natural disaster risks around the Spring Festival to ensure the safety of the people and the stability of society. According to analysis, in February, parts of Northeast China, East and Central Inner Mongolia, and North China have a higher risk of low temperatures, freezing, and snow disasters. Parts of East China, South China, and Southwest China may have a high forest fire risk level. Parts of North China, East China, Central South China, Southwest China, and Northwest China have a higher risk of geological disasters. All local departments should always put the people first, prioritize prevention, act quickly and efficiently, and coordinate efforts to ensure the success of disaster prevention, reduction, and relief work.
