"Speaking Chinese" becomes a new trend in job seeking in Vietnam.

In the Vietnamese labor market, the value of Chinese talents is rapidly increasing. According to the "2025 Salary Report" released by the Vietnamese recruitment platform Joboko, compared to Japanese or Korean language skills, there is a significant increase in demand for Chinese talents in the Vietnamese job market. Joboko stated that out of nearly 582,000 job postings on the platform in 2025, there were 13,000 positions that required proficiency in Chinese, a nearly 50% increase from 2024 and a 95% increase from 2023. At the same time, the growth in employment opportunities for Japanese and Korean language skills is slowing down.
