China Mobile Chain Long Fund Leads the Investment in Weidu C1 Round Financing.

On February 4th, Windrose announced that it has recently initiated a Series C financing round totaling over 100 million US dollars. The C1 round was led by China Mobile Chain Fund, with other investors including Windrose Technology founder Han Wen and French industrial real estate developer PRD. Additionally, this round also received credit support from banks such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, and Agricultural Bank of China. The Series C financing will mainly be used to accelerate the mass production and delivery of the company's electric heavy trucks in global markets after obtaining certification in China, the US, and Europe. It will also be used to drive the construction of assembly and delivery bases in Belgium, France, and the United States, along with supporting infrastructure for solar power generation, energy storage, and fast charging.
