Dutch grid operator TenneT said on Tuesday that it has agreed to sell 25.1% of its German business to the German government for 3.3 billion euros. The Dutch government agreed in September last year to sell 46% of TenneT's German business to a consortium led by Dutch pension fund management company APG, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC, and Norway's central bank investment management institution, with the transaction amounting to a maximum of 9.5 billion euros. TenneT Holding will retain 28.9% of its German subsidiary's shares to continue participating in key decision-making.
