On January 31, the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee issued the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Construction of a City of Comprehensive Artificial Intelligence". It mentions the implementation of the physical intelligence social experiment plan. Relying on platforms such as the National co-built physical intelligence robot innovation center, the plan aims to systematically layout the innovation chain of "brain-small brain-body-core components". The focus is on creating a comprehensive training ground for human-machine collaboration and research fusion, conducting comprehensive real-world data collection, constructing a globally leading open-source physical intelligence dataset compatible with multiple configurations, and driving technological iteration through massive real-world data. The plan also includes forward-looking layouts for advanced production capacity, building a supply chain rapid response system, establishing humanoid robot pilot and mass production factories, and accelerating the industrialization process of cutting-edge technologies.
